+ Art +

Anime styled, all of them. There's no partiular subject. Occasionally, there's a page from a comic or a character from a story, but I'm not committed enough to be consistent. There will be a 20-page comic up here sometime before Octobre 2008, just because I promised myself.

Not all of my art is scanned. In fact, most of it isn't. Especially since my printer spluttered and died somewhere around April 2005. I'll have to see about getting a new one. But yeah, over the years that I've started using photoshop, a lot of the scanned art's gone lost when my computer died, and a lot of art isn't worth scanning, and a lot of art is scattered around my room, waiting to be organized. heh.

Images will open in a new window, because frames and large images don't mesh well.

2006

*[M] Shinigami + three or four hours with pencil, inked, photographed and manipulated in photoshop to get crisper lines. currently being coloured
*[M] Chief + Zim + Fanart of The Master Chief from Halo (copyright Bungie) and Invader Zim (copyright Nickelodeon), a birthday picture for one of my friends, Ray. Phire being me, of course, and Sangheili being Sangheili
*[M] Art Dump + Collection of many sketches of me and friends from comic I'm sorta working on. Total must be around 5-6 hours.
*[M] Steph + Sort of based on a good friend, Stephanie. Sketched in French class, around 30 minutes. 10 minutes to ink.
*[M] Air éphémère + Drawn using bic pen, about two to three hours in total. Inspired by the movie Les Choristes, but doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the movie...
[M] Angel + Drawn completely using the mouse, pen tool used only for hair. About an hour, with photoshop.

2005

[C] Mesmerize + Lots and lots of ribbons and weirdish futuristic wings. XD Drawn by hand, scanned and coloured in photoshop. 5 to 6 hours ish. Lineart HERE.
[C] Hickeys all over + Short comic strip, featuring me + friend Chris. sketched by hand, around 2 hours. photoshopping around an hour
[M] Pretty Please? + Pleading sort of look, heh. Drawn and shaded by hand for bestfriend as bribery for a favour.
[M] Octopus Gang + Inked drawing featuring myself and four other friends. We make up part of the Octopus/Fruit Gang, with one of us missing. Poor guy standing is Chris. Dudette on Octopus is the leader, Yuting. I'm on the watermelon type thing, Meng's on the Peach, and Xin's on the orange. yah. XD

2004

[M] Foxling + Traditional art; foxling, don't quite remember how long it took.
[C] Shoujo + Punkish girl with blonde hair. took a long time colouring, I'm quite fond of the necklace
[C] Ninja + Ninja reciting jutsu from scroll. Photoshop, about 4-5 hours. Horrible colouring. Lineart HERE.
[C] Angel Headband + Random girl with wings in her hair. Somewhat Gaia-n concept, but not quite XD horrible colouring in general. I'm aware of the anatomical discrepancies, lol.
[C] Are you suicidal? + Entry to an anti-smoking multimedia contest. I'm actually quite proud of this one ^^ didn't win though. Oh well.
[M] Tightrope + Really really old picture... must've been near the beginning of 2004. A girl looking like she's walking a tightrope. The only thing I like is the design of the costume.
[C] Fate + my take on what Fate personified would look like. horrible drawing, horrible colouring. took me over 10 hours in total... aaah well. I'll draw another version of fate someday.
[C] Fox Mistress + One of my better coloured pics. Drawn in summer school, coloured in Photoshop, about 8 hours, I think. Fox lady with 4 tails looking over her shoulder. Shouldn't have gone tattoo-happy - or at least a more intricate design. oh well.

[M] Golden Retriever + Gasp! Not Anime! Except it's not much better, since I just followed a tutorial from a book. kinda cute though, so yah.

I mean, she's the embodiment of kickass female. *grins* doesn't do her justice, but... eh. for those who are familiar with Slayers, the following caption. "It was just a Burst Rondo..."

2003

[C] Black Rose + Fanart of Black Rose from .hack//Twilight (copyright respective owners) from a pencil board that a friend gave me. Cell shaded, kinda odd looking because I tried to follow the pencil board exactly and yeah... XD
[C] Kurapika + Fanart of Kurapika from Hunter X Hunter (copyright Yoshihiro Togashi), because he's a kickass character. I have so many posters of him in my room.. and a wallscroll! XD but yah, really crappy colouring.
